When anxiety and uncertainty besets me, one thing that always calms my nerves is a teeny weeny Scandinavian apartment

 

It’s the interesting mix of organic natural textures with industrial styling that makes this Devol kitchen a big winner in my book.

Australian artist Prudence Oliveri bought her childhood home and renovated it, filling it with her exuberant works.
I especially love what she did with the layout and design of the kitchen, above. That blue is such a happy, fresh colour, and I also dig the choice to do fully wall-mounted faucet and taps, which you don’t see super-often in a kitchen.
